The 2024 BXTN High School Construction Trades Competition is set to take place on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Jacob Building in Chilhowee Park, Knoxville, TN from 8:30 am to 4:30pm. This annual event, organized by the Builders Exchange of Tennessee (BXTN), is a celebration of the skills and talents of high school students from across East Tennessee, who will compete in Carpentry, Plumbing, and Electrical trades.

A Platform for Young Talent

The competition provides a platform for young aspiring tradespeople to showcase their abilities, gain recognition, and inspire others to pursue careers in the construction industry. This year's event will feature two categories of competition. The School Team division will see students representing their schools across all three trades, while the Open division will bring together teams from various schools, reflecting real-world collaboration and competition scenarios.
