BXTN Bandwidth Speed Test

Speedtest.net Mini requires at least version 8 of Flash. Please update your client.

Interpreting Your Test Results

The maximum speed of our current internet connection is 10 Mbps for both downloads and uploads. After performing this test using our connection, feel free to choose another Speedtest.net location, repeat the test, and compare the results. These other locations use very fast internet connections (100 Mbps or greater), so they will be able to reach the maximum download speed of your connection if we are not able to. If the results of the two tests are close to your internet connection's rated top speed, you are probably communicating with our site at the fastest rate possible.

Please consider the download and upload speed limits of your internet connection before assuming the problem is on our end. For example, if you are using AT&T's DSL Ultra service, your maximum download speed is 1.5 Mbps and your maximum upload speed is .25 Mbps. In this case, any speed limitation is most probably due to your internet connection rather than ours.

Finally, please remember that our internet connection is being shared by anyone that is accessing our website at any given time. As you can see from a typical internet connection traffic graph, our website is busiest from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday. Performing this test during peak times will probably return slower results than if tested in the evening or on a weekend.
